Chapter 3: Token Creation
In this chapter you will complete the token creation process in the WP Smart Contracts launcher: selecting the token contract type, choosing a flavor, selecting the network, configuring attributes, confirming deployment, and viewing your deployed token.
Let's start by selecting the type of smart contract you want to deploy, in this case a token.
Choose from various smart contract types including tokens, ICOs, staking contracts, and NFT marketplaces. For this tutorial, we'll select "Token" to create a new cryptocurrency.
Now, choose the flavor of the token you want to deploy, in this case a "Chocolate" smart contract for its burning and minting features.
Different token flavors offer different capabilities. Chocolate tokens include advanced features like burning (destroying tokens) and minting (creating new tokens), making them ideal for dynamic tokenomics.
Now choose the blockchain you want to deploy your token on, in this case Pulsechain.
Select from supported networks including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Pulsechain, and others. Each network has different gas fees and characteristics.
Now set all the attributes of the token, like symbol, name, decimals, total supply, etc. In our case we want the token to have unlimited mintable cap and burning enabled. To continue read all the TOS, click the boxes if you agree, check the deployment rate, and click deploy.
Fill in your token details including name, symbol, decimals, and supply settings. Review the terms of service, agree to the conditions, and verify the deployment fee before proceeding.
Double check your token attributes and the deployment fees and click confirm to deploy your token.
Review all your settings one final time. Verify the deployment fee and gas costs, then click "Confirm" to submit the transaction to the blockchain.
Once the transaction is finished you will see the token in the frontend of the site, with all the attributes and the link to each address on the blockchain, including your smart contract address.
Congratulations! Your token is now live on the blockchain. You can view all token details, interact with the contract, and share the contract address with others.
